The Court in Diyarbakir has rejected the request made yesterday by the Kurdish politicians and activits' lawyers to allow the defense to be made in Kurdish.

At the trial against 151 Kurdish politicians and activist which began yesterday in Diyarbakir, one of the request from the defense was for their clients to be able to give their statement in their mother tongue, in Kurdish. But the court has this morning rejected the request.
