CHP leader supports the AKP's occupation project

Kılıçdaroğlu said: "The way we look at it, is that Turkey is obliged to take all steps to ensure its safety."

CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu supported the new occupation project of the government which goes under the name of ”Peace Corridor for Rojava".

Speaking during his visit to Turk-Is Chair Ergun Atalay, Kılıçdaroğlu discussed the new occupation plan that emerged from the MGK (National Security Council) meeting on Tuesday.

Kılıçdaroğlu, who supported any "cross-border" operation carried out by the AKP regime, claimed that they have always defended peace in the Middle East.

Kılıçdaroğlu said: "In this context may be a corridor of peace, may be a special region."

Kılıçdaroğlu added: "The way we look at it, is that Turkey is obliged to take all steps to ensure its safety."

Support for repression and occupation

Kılıçdaroğlu had previously been behind the regime's plans to occupy. Kılıçdaroğlu supported the invasion of Afrin as well as the invasions in Jarablus and other regions. Likewise he supported the invasion of Southern Kurdistan and the denial of the massacres and genocides of the regime in the past.

At the same time Kılıçdaroğlu has also backed the laws and regulation which led to the detention of HDP deputies and to the lead of the one man regime in Turkey.
