CHP applies to YSK for the annulment of the referendum

The Republican People's Party (CHP) has applied to the Supreme Election Board (YSK) for the annulment of Sunday's dubious referendum.

The Republican People's Party (CHP) has applied to the Supreme Election Board (YSK) for the annulment of Sunday's dubious referendum which was marked by a massive fraud across the country, mainly in the Kurdish region.

CHP Vice Chairman Bülent Tezcan submitted the application on behalf of the party to the Supreme Election Board on Sunday's referendum, saying: “Everyone knows that 'No' won in the referendum. The goal not achieved through pressure and threats was tried to be achieved by putting the YSK into operation. This is an unstamped election that has no legitimacy.”

Tezcan said the missing votes and unstamped ballots revealed this truth, adding: “Ballots produced outside the YSK have been used. These ballots lacked the official stamp of the YSK. When all these efforts did not help them achieve their goal, they made the YSK step in.”
