The founding anniversary of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) was celebrated by the people of Kurdistan and their friends living in Hamburg, Germany.
People gathered in Bahnhof and carried torches in the action led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgerên Ciwanên Şoreşger). Anti-Fa, one of the pro-Kurdish German organizations, also supported the action. Slogans such as "Bijî Serok Apo", "The PKK is the people, the people are here", "Kurdistan will be a grave for fascism", "Murderer Erdogan", "Collaborator KDP" were frequently chanted in the protest.
The Revolutionary Youth Movement also celebrated the foundation anniversary of the PKK in Dresden, Germany.
BARCELONA
The establishment of the PKK was also greeted in Barcelona, Spain.
While celebrating the 42nd anniversary of the PKK, Barcelona youth also greeted the freedom struggle of the Shengal people.
ANVERS
The foundation of the PKK was also celebrated in Antwerp, Belgium.
Torches were lit and people danced together in the enthusiastic celebration.
SWITZERLAND
A torch celebration was held in Solothurn, Switzerland.
People from Kurdistan gathered in the May Day area and carried PKK flags and posters of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and danced there, accompanied by slogans and songs they sang by lighting fire.
In the speech made here on behalf of the Kurdish Community Center, it was said that, “We will take the struggle to victory by embracing our Party, which marks its 43rd year, in the person of our Leader and our martyrs.”
The celebration event ended with slogans after the Kurdish traditional dance govend.
Meanwhile, celebrations will be held in many cities this weekend on the occasion of the foundation anniversary of the PKK:
