Attack on HDP office in Denizli

HDP Denizli branch office has been attacked. The attackers wrote racist and sexist graffiti on the walls and stole 2 notebook computers and 300 liras of cash.

Three people attacked Peoples’ Democratic Party (DBP) Denizli branch office last night around midnight.

The attackers broke the office door’s lock. They wrote racist and sexist graffiti on the walls, hanged Turkish flags inside and outside the office and drew the 3 crescents symbol of nationalist Grey Wolves movement. The attackers tore up the “No” posters in the office, set fire to documents they found and broke the signs. It was later found out that the attackers also stole 2 notebook computers and 300 liras in cash.

Branch co-chair Yunus Özdemir said they learned of the attack when a call came from the Denizli Province Security Directorate by noon today, and that the camera recordings showed three attackers, but their identities are yet to be determined.
