According to the Asrin Law Office, relatives of Adullah Öcalan, Ömer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş have been summoned to local prosecutors' offices to hold telephone conversations with the four Imrali prisoners. "The conversation between Mr. Öcalan and his brother was interrupted after a very short time and could not be continued. Mr. Hamili Yıldırım's phone call also lasted for a very short time. The talks with Mr. Ömer Hayri Konar and Veysi Aktaş did not take place because both of them stated that they refuse to talk in protest against the isolation conditions."

There has been no news from Abdullah Öcalan since April 27, 2020. Asrın points out that the last client meeting on Imrali took place on August 7, 2019. The statement goes on to say, "After worrying allegations about Mr. Ocalan's life were made on social media on March 14, 2021, we requested a face-to-face interview every day as a right established by law to determine his state of health. None of our requests received a positive response.

Also today, there was no possibility to get assured information about Mr. Öcalan's health condition. We maintain our demand for an immediate meeting with Mr. Öcalan in Imrali prison. In the brief telephone conversation that could be held today, Mr. Öcalan stated that he does not accept the non-fulfillment of this demand and that it is an illegal condition. After that, the conversation was interrupted."
