Another Kurdish child dies in the Iranian shelling
Despite the holy Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr Iranian mortar shell attacks on South Kurdistan continue.
It is reported that Iranian attacks on Shipitan and Dostani villages in Shehidan region which have been going on for the lat two days left 16-year old Samut Mirzayi dead. Mirzayi reported to have lost his life due to shrapnel piece.
Since May 3 civilians including 2 children were killed
While the international community remains silent in the face of Iranian attacks the civilians continue being killed. According to the ANF records since May 3 civilians were among whom there are 2 children were killed by the Iranian mortar shell attacks on South Kurdistan. At least 3 civilians were also injured.
Iranian aggression started on 13 August, after the ceasefire declared by the Kurdistan Democratic Confederation (KCK). Due to bombings in Qandil region 520 households in the region were displaced and took refuge in Sengeser district. The number of the other victims of the Iranian attacks remains unknown.
