ANF launches Russian service
Fırat News Agency (ANF) ANF was available in Kurdish, Turkish, English, Arabic, Persian, Spanish, German and Sorani and has now expanded into Russian.
The Fırat News Agency, or ANF for short, started publishing in October 2005. ANF, founded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands will now be publishing in nine languages.

ANF continues to be an alternative news agency with rich stories from all around the world. ANF has reporters throughout the world, focused mainly in Kurdistan and Turkey, and delivers written news, images and video in all areas to the subscribers and readers.
ANF has faced pressure and intimidation policies since the day it was founded but is defined as a free media organ in today’s world where the truth is distorted and hidden with all means available.
Several ANF reporters have lost their lives in various attacks throughout Kurdistan, and many reporters and readers have been arrested. Despite all the pressure, ANF has defended the freedom of expression and the right to information everywhere and is a bold source in the media.
