Four activists in Berlin had gone on hunger strike joining the resistance demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The four, Ömer Bağdur, Cemal Kobanê, Şiyar Xelil and Mele Mustafa Tuzak called off the hunger strike on Sunday, as did all other activists and prisoners, after Öcalan’s lawyers conveyed to them the message by the Kurdish people's leader.

Tuzak was first taken to hospital, followed by Xelil who was also taken to hospital on Tuesday after suffering severe stomach pain.
