Activists in Rome and Milan demand freedom for Abdullah Öcalan

The international conspiracy against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan was protested in Rome and Milan.

The Freedom for Öcalan Committee, Kurdistan Information Office and Italian Kurdish Friendship groups organized a demonstration in Rome to demand freedom for the Kurdish people’s leader.

Giovanni Russo Spena, spokesperson of the Freedom for Öcalan Committee, said that Abdullah Öcalan is a philosopher and politician who has become famous in the world. Russo Spena said that Öcalan should be released as soon as possible so that the world can benefit from his ideas.

At the protest, Maurizio Acerbo, general secretary of the Rifondazione Comunista Party, Abdulah Öcalan's lawyer Arturo Salerni, COBAS, Jineoloji Committee, Rete Kurdistan, No Tap Brindisi, made speeches and condemned the conspiracy.

Milan

Dozens of institutions, parties, unions, democratic mass organizations, Rete Jin and social centers participated in the march organized in Milan by Rete Kurdistan Nord Italia.

Activists condemned the international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
