Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attacks on a workplace and hospital carried out by relatives and bodyguards of AKP deputy Ibrahim Halil Yıldız during the General Election on 24 June 2018 in Urfa's Suruç district and her son Ferit Şenyaşar are staging a sit-in protest in front of the courthouse in Urfa with the demand of "Justice". The Şenyaşar family's requests for a meeting regarding the file were rejected by the Chief Public Prosecutor.

Killers are free

Ferit Şenyaşar stated that the family members were brutally murdered at Suruç State Hospital, but none of those attackers were arrested. "They murdered my father and my brothers in front of my mother. We have no patience anymore. The perpetrators of this massacre are free. No one can guarantee that they will not kill us too."

Şenyaşar said: "We invite everyone with conscience to support us."

Release my son

Emine Şenyaşar said that her husband and children were murdered in front of her eyes at the hospital and added: “I want my arrested son to be released. Why are they doing this cruelty to us? They killed my children at the hospital. We wanted to speak to the prosecutor. He did not accept our request to meet him. I will continue to sit in front of the courthouse. I will not leave the courthouse until my son is released. They murdered my family and put my son in prison. Everything was done in broad daylight.”
