Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan's lawyers Faik Özgür Erol, Raziye Öztürk, Rezan Sarıca and Cengiz Yürekli filed a new application to Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to meet with their client.

The last contact with Abdullah Öcalan was through a phone call with his brother Mehmet on 25 March. The call was interrupted half way through.

Lawyers Rezan Sarıca and Nevroz Uysal were able to meet with their client after 8 years, on 2 and 22 May, 12 and 18 June and 7 August 2019. Since then, all applications have gone unanswered.
