65 civilians rescued in Raqqa
7 ISIS members were killed and 65 civilians rescued amid ongoing clashes in Raqqa city.
Violent clashes are taking place between Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and ISIS in the operation to liberate Raqqa, dubbed the ‘Great Battle’.
According to reports coming through, the ISIS gangs suffered losses in Nahda, Hurriyah and Barid neighborhoods. As SDF fighters are advancing in Hurriyah and Barid neighborhoods, 7 ISIS members have been killed during clashes.
40 civilians have been rescued in Nahda neighbourhood and 25 others east of Raqqa.
SDF forces are making further advances in the city.
