40 youths from Aleppo join the YPG

40 new recruits have graduated from the first training cycle of the People's Defense Units (YPG) in Aleppo.

The training cycle at the Martyr Sadiq Academy in Aleppo had begun 50 days ago with the participation of 40 Kurdish, Arab, Turkmen, Assyrian and Syriac youths. Military and idealogical lessons were provided during the training cycle called Martyr Serbest.

The training cycle ended with a ceremony in which dozens of YPG and YPJ fighters from Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah regions participated.

The ceremony ended with Kurdish traditional dance halay after the oath taken by the new recruits.
