20 pro-regime soldiers killed in Idlib

Turkish-backed Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) reportedly attacked the positions of regime forces.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced that at least 20 pro-regime soldiers have been killed in Idlib region.

Reports suggest that Turkish-backed Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) attacked the positions of Syrian regime forces.

The fighting in the region is said to be the heaviest one since the deal made between Turkey and Russia in September for a demilitarized zone in Idlib territory.

SOHR reported that another attack had killed 5 people in Aleppo region on Monday night. According to SOHR, at least 20 pro-regime soldiers have been killed in the last three days.

Reports suggest that 9 HTS members have been killed during clashes and bombardments of the regime forces which on the other hand led to thousands of people to flee from Han Sayhun region in southern Idlib and seek shelter in the north of the city.
