Kurdish political prisoners imprisoned in PKK and PAJK cases have ended their hunger strike and death fast actions upon the call of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan fort he end of actions.

10 prisoners on hunger strike and death fast in Diyarbakır D Type Closed Prison have been taken to Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital. Masses met the prisoners at the entrance of the hospital where their treatment has begun.

Relatives of prisoners, HDP Amed MPs Remziye Tosun and Semra Güzel and HDP Amed branch co-chair Zeyyat Ceylan continue to wait outside the hospital.

It grabbed attention that the prisoners were brought to hospital in not ambulances but police shuttles.

Reports say that prisoners joining the resistance will be brought to hospitals in groups.

Prisoners who were on death fast and have been hospitalized are: Ferhat Turgay, Abdülhalik Kaplan, Reşat Özdil, Ergin Akhan and Ahmet Topkaya.
