YPG Press Office reported that fighters of the YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) continued their operations around the city of Hesekê which they recently liberated from ISIS.

The statement said that combatants of Defense Units launched a fresh operation on the ISIS-held village of Recman to the southeast of Hesekê last night.

After defeating the ISIS groups that carried out a suicide car attack in an effort to hinder their advance, Defense Units liberated the village.

YPG Press Office added that the number of ISIS casualties left here couldn't be verified.
