YPG/YPJ forces entered Girê Spi (Tel Abyad) city center after arriving at the town from the east and southeast. Clashes continue in two neighborhoods and YPG/YPJ fighters are only 1 km away from the Tel Abyad-Akçakale border gate.

The pincer operation YPG/YPJ launched jointly with Burkan Al-Fırat forces continues. The joint forces entered Girê Spi town centre after taking control of the bridge over Cellab River and of the hill at the entrance of the town last night.

YPG/YPJ forces entered the town from the east and southeast, and the clashes in Meshur Fokani neighbourhood to the east and Meshur Tehtani neighborhood to the southeast continue in full force.
