YPG Press Office has informed in a written statement that the advance of the YPG/YPJ Cizîrê and Kobanê forces in the south of Girê Spî and Silûk continues.

YPG said the Operation Commander Rubar Qamislo continues in its 44th day with the advance of the YPG/YPJ forces in the south of Girê Spî and Silûk after the liberation of both towns.

The statement reported that the YPG/YPJ forces liberated the village of Qantariye on the international road to the south of Silûk yesterday and continue to advance alongside the road, liberating two more villages last night. YPG added that 5 gang members were killed and a military vehicle of the gangs was destroyed in the operation here.

YPG also said 4 YPG fighters have fallen in the clashes of the last 24 hours.

YPG further said that ISIS gangs launched an attack on Sikêniyê village to the southeast of Til Berak last night, reporting that a short clash took place after the response of the YPG/YPJ forces against the attack, leaving 2 gang members dead. YPG added that the gang group had to escape from the area following the clashes.
