YPG General Command has released a statement responding to the news published by some media organs claiming that "YPG is committing a massacre against Arab people".

The YPG Command said that; "Within this challenging struggle against the gangs, we have raised the flag of resistance to protect the honour of all peoples and entities."

Pointing to the expansive struggle being waged in the Middle East, especially in Iraq and Syria, against the ISIS terror, the statement said that YPG has played a great role and continue cleansing the region of ISIS gangs and waging a heavy war against them.

Remarking that some press-media organs made efforts to reflect the struggle of YPG and coalition forces against ISIS gangs in a different and wrong way, YPG said; "Through defamation aiming to legitimize the ISIS gangs and the massacres they commit, these press-media organs are making an effort to expose the YPG forces and to blame them with unreal and unfounded claims and on the basis of reports by the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) that has performed no concrete works so far, and acted with under the guidance of regional forces with an aim to defame our forces. In addition, the blame of the savage massacres and plundering acts of ISIS gangs is being tried to be put on our forces."

YPG General Command  pointed out that the Syrian Network for Human Rights which was founded in 2011 with the claim of working for the free will of the people acts in full conformity with the regional forces that feed it, and does nothing other than telling lies and running a smear campaign.

"Why would it otherwise wage a war against us with aspersions like "YPG is committing a massacre against the Arab people", while calling the ISIS gangs as "armed opposition" in the face of the fact that the Arab people, one of major forces within the YPG, fight against ISIS alongside the YPG?", YPG said.

YPG said it is known already that this organization comprises a group of agents called reporters, adding that the SNHR which has been involved in all kinds of shady issues now acts in full cooperation with ISIS in order to cover its dirts and create a conflict.

'ALL PEOPLES IN KURDISTAN ARE DEFEATING ISIS BY FIGHTING TOGETHER'

YPG General Command emphasized that absence of honour and all kinds of human and cultural values was the only meaning revealed by this smear campaign that is being run while all peoples in Kurdistan territory, including Kurds, Arabs and Syriacs, are fighting together and defeating the ISIS that came from far away to occupy their lands, massacre and exile their people and seize their properties.

YPG reiterated their call to all humanitarian organizations and agencies to act with more sensitivity in the face of the information being spread, and to have their reports confirmed.

YPG underlined that such structures and organizations founded in line with the plans of regional forces are bounded to financial means and have already given up the struggle for humanity, adding; "Syrian Network for Human Rights (Eş-Şebeket Suriye li Huquq El-İnsan) and Kurd Watch website lay this truth bare by reflecting the battle against ISIS as if being waged against the Arab people and developing chauvinism with untrue and baseless reports."

Noting that this planned and dirty war is being waged against the fact that the participation of the Arab people in Cizîrê Canton in political and military fight is increasing more and more every day, YPG said the aim of these reports is to break the unity and solidarity among peoples and to legitimize the savage massacres of ISIS gangs.

Vowing that the games of these organizations will be foiled and defeated, YPG said; "Our administration that comprises all peoples, and our peoples have waged an all-together resistance to terror, extending  their strength further every day."

Reiterating their invitation to international organizations and agencies, YPG General Command said; "You will be welcome to Rojava Kurdistan to witness in person the harmony, solidarity, spirit of resistance and the reality here of the peoples fighting shoulder to shoulder against evil and terror.
