YPG Press Office said that following a deciding campaign on its 43rd uninterrupted day, combined forces of the People’s / Women’s Defense Units (YPG / YPJ), alongside fighters from the Burkan al-Firat (Euphrates Volcano) Joint Operations Room from both Kobanê and Cizîrê (Jazira) Cantons continue to maintain and advance a major move against ISIS terrorist group around the city of Girê Spî (Tal Abyad).

An operation has been commenced there to secure and take initiative for the two roads from Raqqa and Ayn Isa to Canton Cizîrê; this advance is to be continued. Within the past 24 hours, the villages of Sekhra, Khazuga, Til Tewîla, Ca'fer, Bîr Etîyê, Genterî, Tirwazîye, 15 more villages with undisclosed names and a power boost center on the International Road have been effectively liberated from Daesh terrorists.
