Turkish state expands its invasion attacks in Southern Kurdistan

The invading Turkish state has launched attacks to expand its invasion in Bradost region in Southern Kurdistan that it taken under control in autumn.

The invading Turkish state has launched attacks to expand its invasion in Bermizê village, Geliyê Reş, Mount Siro and surroundings, Deşta Heyatê and Haci Beg river in Bradost region, Southern Kurdistan.

According to reports of local sources, Turkish jets carried out strikes on several locations including Mount Evdal Kovi in Xakurke region starting from early Thursday morning. Reports suggest that with the airstrikes, the Turkish state has launched an operation after military deployment in the areas it had invaded in autumn, and seeks to expand its invasion. According to local sources, with this morning’s attacks, the Turkish state intends to invade a large territory in between Mount Siro and Mount Evdal Kovi.

As the invading Turkish army continues its attacks against Afrin together with jihadist groups, the military campaign against Southern Kurdistan is also said to be a part of this invasion attempt.

At a time when the people of Southern Kurdistan demand the withdrawal of Turkish bases in Southern Kurdistan, political observers, political party and politics experts state that the Turkish state seeks to invade Southern Kurdistan together with Afrin.
