Turkish soldiers have opened fire on the local people in the village of Çeqela in Shiyê district of Efrîn bordering Turkey.

The local inhabitants told that Turkish soldiers started opening fire after aiming their guns at the people in the village on the excuse of “training”. Villagers in the region also voiced concerns over their safety.

According to the statements of villagers, the fire by soldiers of the Turkish army wasn't opened from one fixed point but various locations, adding that the purpose of the attack was to cause fear among the people in the region.
