People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Press Office has reported that the aerial activity of the Turkish forces continues increasingly over guerrilla controlled zones.

HPG reported flights of Turkish war planes over Mêrgezerê area in the Zagros region of Medya Defence Zones at between 05:00 - 08:00 on 16 June in addition to intense drone activity. Accordingly, Turkish air forces carried out drone activities over the following places and dates:

-Over Oremar area of Yüksekova district of Hakkari, at between 05:00 - 09:00 on 16 June,

- Over Şukê and Martyr Rahime areas at the border with Avaşin area at between 23:00, 15 June and 12:00, 16 June,

-Over Heftanin area at between 04:00, 15 June and 11:00, 16 June,

-Over Gare area at between 03:00 - 17:00 on 15 June and at between 07:30 - 12:00 on 16 June,

- Over Zap region and the borderline at between 14:00 - 18:00 and 20:00 - 23:00 on 15 June, and at between 05:00 - 06:00 on 16 June.

In addition to those aerial activities, HPG further reported that Turkish forces laid ambushes with armoured vehicles on the road between Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak and Sinekli at between 12:00 - 19:00 on 15 June.

Furthermore, added the HPG that intense military activity of the Turkish forces also took place in the areas of Kırmızıköprü and Avtirek military posts of Pülümür district of Dersim on 14 June.
