Military activity of the Turkish army against guerrilla areas continues increasingly, said the Press Office of the HPG (People's Defense Forces) in a written statement which appeared on its website.

According to the statement, unmanned aerial vehicles of the Turkish army conducted reconnaissance flights over;

- Xakurke area and border line of Medya Defense Zones between 16:00 on 9 July and 10:00 on 10 July.

- Avashin area between 03:00 – 12:00 on 10 July,

- Zap region between 06:00 – 15:00 and at 21:00 on 9 July, and at 07:00 on 10 July

- Metina area between 21:00 on 7 July and 12:00 on 10 July.

HPG also reported an activity of Turkish warplanes over Xakurke, Avashin, Gare, Metina, Heftanin areas and Zap region of Medya Defense Zones between 12:00 - 15:00 and 22:00– 23:00 on 9 July.

An activity of UAVs and warplanes also took place over Botan region and Besta area between 20:00 – 21:30 on 9 July.

The same day, Turkish UAVS also performed reconnaissance flights over Sason area of Batman between 07:00 – 16:00, and over Şehit (Martyr) Baran area in Farqin district of Amed as of 8 July.

HPG said that Turkish soldiers have on the other hand laid ambushes around the Koçali Dam in Adıyaman province for the past 10 days, in the villages of Gazşinê, Mirişka, Tarova, Kurê Millê, Banê Gozê, Azikan, Bolka and Hisan Hill for the last 3 days.
