People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Press Office has said in a written statement that bombardments and aerial activities of the Turkish army continue.
HPG reported especially an increase of the aerial activity by the Turkish forces, giving the following information of the flights of the Turkish air force over guerrilla zones.
-Over Kandil region on 11 June at between 06:00 - 15:00,
-Over Şehit (Martyr) Rehime and Şukê areas at the Avashin border line, at between 18:00, 9 June and 22:00, 11 June, and on 12 June at between 05:00 - 12:00,
-Over Metina area at between 20:00, 11 June and 12:00, 12 June,
-Over Zap region and Garê a Mezin and Gelîyê Zap areas at the border at between 21:00, 11 June and 11:00, 12 June,
-Over Heftanin area on 11 June at between 15:00 - 21:00.
HPG further reported flights of Turkish war planes over Heftanin area and the border line on 11 June at between 19:00 - 20:00.
The Turkish military forces also launched a bombardment on Martyr Rehime Hill, Martyr Bager Hill and Martyr Zerdest Hill at the border of Avashin area from Oremar military post in Yüksekova district of Hakkari on 11 June at between 21:00 - 22:00, said the HPG, adding that another bombardment from the same military post was carried out on Şukê are on 12 June at between 11:00 - 12:00.
HPG further reported that the Turkish soldiers laid ambushes in between Dêrcan and Kubikê villages of Hazro district of Amed in the morning hours of 10 and 11 June.
In the meantime, a counter-guerrilla group opened random fire in the area between Alpire and Bedran villages of Karlıova district of Amed on 10 June at between 22:00 - 23:00, according to the statement of the HPG:
HPG finally reported that the Turkish army is forming new emplacements and towers on İlon Hill in Farqin district on the pretext of sustaining the security of the dam.
