As the intense bombing campaign of the Turkish army against guerrilla areas in south Kurdistan continues, jets have hit the civilian village of Zergelê in Kandil region of Medya Defense Zones at 4 am local time today.
According to a Rojnews reporter on the ground, at least eight rockets hit the village, which left eight local people dead, according to initial reports, and many others wounded, including 15 severely.
While the bombardment also destroyed many houses in the village, the activity of warplanes is reported to be continuing.
