Turkish fighter jets shell Medya Defense Zones

Turkish fighter jets bombed Avashin, Zap, Metina, Qandil, Xakurkê, and Dêrîkê and Kanê villages in Medya Defense Zones.

The Press Center of the People's Defence Forces (HPG) Press Center said that the occupant Turkish army, having suffered a heavy defeat in Garê, bombed the Medya Defense Zones intensely with fighter jets.

HPG shared the following information on the details of the bombings:

"On February 20, at 11:10, the Mervanos area in the Avashin region was bombed twice by fighter jets.

On February 23, between 11: 00-13: 00, the rural area of Dêrîkê village in Duhok's Çemankê sub-district was bombed six times by fighter jets.

On February 23, at 13:40, the rural area of ​​Kanê village in Amadiya district was bombed twice by fighter jets.

On February 23, at 14:00, the vicinity of Zap River was bombed twice by fighter jets.

On February 23, at 14:30, the Karker area in the Zap region was bombed twice by fighter jets.

On February 24, from 09:20 to 09:30, the Serê Metîna area of ​​the Metina region was bombed by fighter jets.

On February 24, from 12:00 to 13:30, the Savaş Hill, Zergelê Hill, Hiwa Hill, as well as the rural areas of the Kozinê, Bêpalan, Kalatuka and Tutmê villages in the Qandil region were bombed by fighter jets.

On February 24, from 12:30 until 13:50, the Lolan River area, Berbizina Hill and the Goşinê area in ​​the Xakurkê region were bombed with fighter jets. On the same day, at 20:00, the vicinity of Lolan River was bombed with fighter jets.

We did not experience any losses in these air strikes."
