A huge wildfire erupted in the region of Mount Gabar located between Şırnak province and its Cizre district. The fire, reportedly caused by artillery attacks launched by Turkish troops in the outposts in this region, is still continuing.

The fire continues to spread to a larger area as no intervention is allowed.
