Turkish army captures a woman Kurdish guerrilla alive

Following the ambush of 5 July on a military outpost in Þemdinli district of Hakkari, a female Kurdish guerrilla called Cihan Öner was captured by the Turkish soldiers, say witnesses. It is also reported that Cihan Öner is the daughter of the assistant of the mayor of Kýzýltepe district of Mardin province, Selanik Öner of Peace and Democracy Party (BDP). She is being interrogated at District Gendarmerie Base in Þemdinli. The witnesses reported that Cihan Öner was taken to Þemdinli State Hospital for examination and that this is how she was recognised by witnesses.
