Turkey bombs villages in South Kurdistan

Reports of ongoing attacks by the Turkish army targeting civilian settlements in South Kurdistan.

The Turkish state continues its genocidal attacks in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) amidst its ongoing military campaign against the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones.

Having launched its cross-border operation on April 17 in cooperation with South Kurdistan’s ruling party KDP, the Turkish state has carried out airstrikes on villages today.

According to reports, the bombardment targeted many villages in the Hirure sub-district, located in the Kani Masi region in Amadiya countryside.

The attack with howitzers and mortars caused material damage in the targeted civilian settlements.
