Reports are coming through that three soldiers died and four others were wounded in a clash between Turkish soldiers and People’s Defense Forces (HPG) guerrillas in the rural area of southern Hatay province.

The clash broke out in the forested land of Dörtyol/Hatay early on Thursday morning. Four wounded soldiers, one being seriously wounded, were taken to Dörtyol and Ýskenderun State Hospitals.

The clash is reported to continue as military units have been transferred to the area.
