According to Rahana reports indicate that over 30 civil rights, political, cultural and literary activists have been detained in Marivan in the past 3 months. On Monday, 3 other activists were arrested by the IRGC Intelligence Unit and transferred to a security detention center in Marivan. Rahman Razkhadiv, Majid Maryami amd Abdollah Rayegan are among the detainees.

There is no information as to the condition of the 3 Kurdish activists.

Last Thursday, 4 other residents of the village by the names of Ebrahim Soleimani, Borhan Razkhadiv, Hamid Maryami and Omid Nouri were detained.

Moreoever, three other Marivan residents by the names of Aboubakr Yeganeh, Adel Sohrabi, and Rafigh Sohrabi were detained last week and transferred to an undisclosed location.
