Political genocide operations of the temporary AKP government, which is dragging the country into a conflict by its pro-war policies, continue across North Kurdistan and Turkey. Six more persons were detained in the house raids launched by Turkish security forces in Batman and Mardin today.
In a midnight house-raid operation, special operation units raided several houses in Yalım neighbourhood of Mardin's central district of Artuklu. After breaking the doors and windows of the houses, police detained two persons.
The detainees have been reportedly taken to Mardin Police headquarters.
Four other people were taken into custody as a result of house raids by special operations teams in Batman early this morning. The detainees have been taken to Batman police headquarters.
On the other hand, raid operations also continue in Van where DBP Edremit district co-chair's house was raided by police teams last night.
The operation came following last week's declaration of self-governance in the district.
DBP district co-chair Abdulkerim Batmaz said police and special operation teams entered his house from the windows they broke, without ever knocking at the door and allowing them to open it. Police teams made a detailed search in the house while also threatening and swearing at his neighbors who wanted to see what was going on.
