Rotînda Amed: Every word from the leader is an instruction

Rotînda Amed, a delegate to the 12th PKK Congress, stated that every word from leader Abdullah Öcalan is a perspective and instruction for them, saying, “No matter what tasks and responsibilities lie ahead, I am ready to participate without hesitation.”

The 12th Congress of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) was held simultaneously and in parallel in two different regions of the Medya Defense Zones between May 5 and 7.

Speaking here, Rotînda Amed, one of the delegates attending the congress, said the following:

"This is my first time attending a PKK congress. Through our comrades Fuat and Rıza, we saw how heavy a price the PKK has paid. Every comrade in the PKK is unique. The diversity of PKK comrades was revealed in the colors of their martyrdom. They have always led the way for us, and we have renewed our commitment to them. Once again, I bow with respect before the martyrs of the Apoist cause. As my comrades said, every word from the leader is a perspective and instruction for us. The leader wrote a greeting that was only one page long. It was about love, longing, and ascribing meaning to women... Our greatest task is to take the lead in criticism and self-criticism. When I heard the leader's comments on Gilgamesh and Enkidu, I said that urbanization deepens slavery in people. Slavery begins with an alienation from principles. The democratic nation is under fierce attack against women's freedom. If we form a strong unity, we can definitely ward off attacks from outside. Whatever tasks and responsibilities lie ahead in the future, I am ready to participate without hesitation."
