Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Politburo representative Mele Bextiyar and an accompanying delegation of 10 persons have arrived North Kurdistan to attend the rally of the HDP in the main Kurdish city Amed today.
Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Politburo representative Mele Bextiyar and an accompanying delegation of 10 persons have arrived North Kurdistan to attend the rally of the HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) in the main Kurdish city Amed today.
After crossing the border from Xabur border gate, the PUK delegation was welcomed by HDP Şırnak MP candidates Faysal Sarıyıldız and Aycan İrmez, co-mayors of Şırnak and district municipalities and executives of HDP and DBP (Party of Democratic Regions, formerly BDP) provincial and district branches.
The PUK delegation first visited the Municipality of Şırnak's Silopi district where Mele Bextiyar said they would be attending today's rally in Amed in support of the HDP.
Following the visit, the PUK delegation left for Amed.
