The march, organized by the Nantes Democratic Kurdish Community Center (CDK-N) and supported by internationalists, carried banners reading “The Turkish state is committing a massacre in Rojava”, “Let's break the isolation, let's destroy fascism; let's liberate Kurdistan” as well as posters of Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan and PKK flags.

Paris

Hundreds of Kurds took to the streets in Paris to protest the genocidal attacks by the Turkish state on Rojava.

Hundreds of Kurds gathered at Gare De l'Est Square in Paris to attend the demo organized by CDK-F and marched to République Square.

CDK-F co-chair Şahin Polat and CDK-F Foreign Affairs spokesperson Berivan Fırat made a press statement.

Polat said: "While the fascist Turkish state is making peace statements on the one hand, it is also carrying out genocidal attacks on Rojava and Shengal, killing civilians, women and children. This is hypocrisy. European states should also see Turkey's hypocritical policies and reconsider themselves. The political and economic support that Europe gives to Turkey is returning as a massacre to the Kurdish people, Kurdish women and Kurdish children in Kurdistan. Our call to European states is this: do not be a party to the Kurdish genocide."

Munich
