Press conference in Yüksekova to protest KDP's attacks in South Kurdistan

Today a press conference will be held in Yüksekova to protest the KDP's attacks in South Kurdistan.

Protests against the KDP's attacks in South Kurdistan continue to increase. A call was made on Sunday to participate in the press conference that will be held today in Yüksekova (Gever), in the province of Hakkari (Colemêrg).

Members of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) and the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) spent Sunday handing out leaflets inviting everyone to attend the protest today. The press statement will be held in front of the Zagros Business Center at 2pm.

DBP, HDP and Green Left Party Gever district administrators and Green Left Party MPs Gülderen Varlı and Necla Demir visited shops and talked to the people on Sunday.

Green Left Party Van MP Gülderen Varlı said: "We will say no to the attacks by the Turkish army in South Kurdistan. Together, we can stop this war before fire falls on our homes. Let's get united and put an end to it. We expect everyone who is against the war to participate in the press statement we will hold today."

Green Left Party Hakkari MP Öznur Bartın met opinion leaders and invited them to the protest.
