Police attacks protest against isolation in Van

The police have attacked the march held in Van to support DTK Co-chair Leyla Guven, who has been on an indefinite non-alternating hunger strike for 98 days demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Ocalan. 3 people were wounded in the attack.

The people of Van gathered in the HDP offices to hold a march to support DTK Co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Guven, who has been on an indefinite non-alternating hunger strike for 98 days demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and to protest the isolation.

Citing a Governorate decree, the police attacked the crowd which included MPs.
