Patriotic Youth took over the hunger strike in Sulaymaniyah

Members of the Kurdistan Patriotic Youth Movement took over the hunger strike on 152nd day in Sulaymaniyah.

Hunger strike protests demanding the end of the isolation regime executed against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan continue in Turkey, Kurdistan, Europe and beyond.

The hunger strike launched by the Mesopotamian Workers’ Association in Sulaymaniyah on 12 December 2018 has been taken over by the 77th group on its 152nd day.

Members of the Kurdistan Patriotic Youth Movement took over the hunger strike chanting “Biji Serok Apo” [Long Live Leader Öcalan].

Speaking on behalf of the new group of activists, Ehmed Bekir said that; “This action is for the salvation of the Kurdish people and all humanity. We call upon the youth to join the resistance to break the isolation.”
