The Newroz celebrations started in the Qandil area of Medya Defense Areas in the early hours of the morning.

Kurds began to flock to the Newroz area, which was decorated with posters of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and flags of PKK, KCK and PAJK, from the early hours of the morning.

Tevgera Azadi, political parties and civil society organizations in South Kurdistan, Maxmur People's Assembly, Shengal People's Assembly, Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration Southern Kurdistan Representative Office, and dozens of institutions are also participating in the celebrations.

Artists from all four parts of Kurdistan will perform at the celebrations.
