Marxist Leninist Communist Party (MLKP) Rojava branch has issued a statement to mark the 3rd anniversary of the Rojava Revolution, vowing to protect the gains of the revolution and calling on the world’s people to step up solidarity with Rojava.

MLKP drew attention in its statement that the Rojava Revolution, created by great labour, dedication and losses is continuing to gain strength despite the dirty games of the imperialists and the efforts of the Turkish state to choke the revolution.

The statement stressed that the struggle waged in Rojava, where all the settlements were liberated step by step in the last 3 years at the cost of heavy losses, has at the same time revealed the power of the people for self-management and capacity to live together by jointly building a system on the basis of liberties and democracy.

MLKP recalled in its statement that these past three years of the revolution have passed with the determination for building the revolution and defending it against the enemies. The party further saluted the martyrs who devoted themselves to the defense of the revolution and who thereby became immortal by leaving an honorable heritage to the peoples of Rojava.

The statement further emphasised that the martyrs of the revolution assigned to all the revolutionaries the duty to defend the revolution with a greater devotion and effort, and added that MLKP will undertake all its responsibility to fulfill this duty by ever remaining loyal to the legacy of the martyrs.

MLKP drew attention to the fact that for the last three years, the Rojava Revolution inspired all the oppressed peoples of the world as a model of a together-living on the basis of freedom and equality as well as for being a women’s revolution through which the women built subjectivity by taking part in all the stages of the revolution as well as its defense.

“The Rojava Revolution, the social building of which is continuing despite the war and embargo, proves the need for all the oppressed of the world to stand up for their rights and freedoms and wage a struggle against the reactionary dictatorships”, said the MLKP and vowed to continue to defend the revolution. MLKP strongly called all oppressed peoples of the world to raise solidarity with Rojava in order for the protection and enhancement of the revolution.
