‘MLKP is continuing Mahir’s militant spirit’

Three MLKP fighters in Sinjar talked about the revolutionary tradition created by Mahir Çayan, Deniz Gezmiş and İbrahim Kaypakkaya. “They were very young, but despite that they created a radical tradition of struggle. We are carrying on this tradition and endeavouring to broaden it,” they added.

The MLKP fighters added that Turkish revolutionaries should grasp the significance of the legacy of revolutionaries such as Mahir Çayan and his comrades and get involved in the struggle in Kurdistan..

‘The spirit of Kızıldere is reborn in Sinjar’

Diren Güney explained how they had come to Sinjar after going to Rojava to defend the revolution there. “The Kurdish Freedom Movement rescued the Yazidi people and is now waging a struggle to liberate Sinjar. Our party is supporting this struggle, demonstrating that the spirit of Kızıldere has been reborn in Sinjar,” she added.
