The Turkish army launched a military operation in the Lice district of Amed (Diyarbakır) last night.

The operation covers a larger area in the triangle of the rural neighborhoods of Cofitnê (Dallıca), Bêşişt (Türeli) and Dareqol (Kıyı) in the south-east of Lice, with roadblocks set up along access routes.

The military has already carried out aerial bombardments and reports are coming through of intense aerial activity in the operation area.
