Military ceremony and victory celebration in Kobanê
After their liberation of Girê Spî, YPG-YPJ Cizîr forces that participated in Commander Rubar Qamişlo Initiative and the joint forces that participated in Martyr Gelhar Operation arrived at Kobanê to hold a military ceremony.

YPG-YPJ and joint forces that had liberated Girê Spî arrived at Kobanê to hold a military ceremony where thousands of people also celebrated the victory yesterday.
After their liberation of Girê Spî, YPG-YPJ Cizîr forces that participated in Commander Rubar Qamişlo Initiative and the joint forces that participated in Martyr Gelhar Operation arrived at Kobanê to hold a military ceremony. After this ceremony, thousands of people celebrated the liberation of Girê Spî.
Military forces arrived at Kobane city center at 14:00 and held a military ceremony here. After a moment of silence for those fighters who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom, Kobanê Executive Council President Enwer Muslim, Defence Council President İsmet Şêx, YPG Commander Cemîl Kobanê and YPJ Cizîr commander Rehîme Kobanê made speeches to address the thousands of people celebrating the liberation of Girê Spî.
MUSLİM: MAY THE YPG SUCCESS BRING PEACE TO THE HEARTS OF ALL OUR PEOPLES
In his speech, Kobanê Executive Council President Enwer Muslim recalled their promise to protect civilians living in the cantons, and wished that the YPG-YPJ success brought peace to the hearts of all people including Kurds, Arabs, Assyrians and Turkmens. Muslim reminded that their forces fight for a sisterly, peaceful, secure and honorable life, and thanked all YPG fighters and patriotic civilians who contributed to the victory in Girê Spî.
Defense Council President İsmet Şêx Hesen welcomed YPG-YPJ warriors who shielded the people of Kobanê against attacks and said that they owed their lives to the historic resistance of YPG-YPJ fighters. Hesen dedicated the Girê Spî victory to all four parts of Kurdistan and Leader Apo.
YPG COMMANDER KOBANÊ: THE RETURN TO KOBANÊ TOOK PLACE AFTER A HISTORIC VICTORY
YPG Commander Cemîl Kobanê welcomed all civilians and fighters from Cizîr and Kobanê, and recalled the heavy prices YPG-YPJ warriors have made in the struggle against ISIS so far. Kobanê dedicated the victory to Leader Apo and the mothers and fathers of all martyrs. Kobanê said that their forces kept their promise to bring together Kurdish, Arab and Assyrian people in order to clear the region off of ISIS gangs.
Kobanê criticized the accusations against YPG-YPJ that these forces occupy areas and force civilians to migrate, and said that their forces would only work towards the union of Kurdish, Arab, Assyrian and other people. Kobanê invited the people of Bakur (North Kurdistan) to be wary of AKP accusations and provocations, and called upon everyone to start rebuilding their towns and villages. Kobanê ended his speech by pledging their allegiance to the freedom of Kurdish people and the democratization of Syria.
YPJ COMMANDER KOBANÊ: OUR MARTYRS BROUGHT US TOGETHER
YPJ Cizîr commander Rehîme Kobanê dedicated the historic union of Kobanê and Cizîr cantons to Leader Apo and commemorated YPG-YPJ martyrs who fell during the liberation of Girê Spî. Kobanê thanked and saluted the people of Bakur and Rojava who contributed to the victory.
Kobanê emphasized that it was pro-Apo spirit that motivated all martyrs such as Gelhat and Rûbar, and it would be this spirit that will remain paramount and lead the people of Kurdistan to freedom and victory.
After these speeches, thousands of people danced to celebrate the liberation of Girê Spî from ISIS gangs and chanted in favor of YPG-YPJ.
