Şex El Şemer from Şemer tribe in Cizir Canton objected to Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s isolation, and stated that Öcalan should be freed and parliamentarians should ensure Öcalan’s liberation.

Şex El Şemer called on parliamentarians to ensure Öcalan’s liberation and said that there is no difference between Leader Apo and Nelson Mandela.

'HE DEFENDS ALL PEOPLES'

Şex El Şemer emphasized the international aspect of the conspiracy targeting Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, and said that western states view Öcalan’s liberation philosophy as a threat to their power. El Şemer stated that Nelson Mandela liberated South Africa without a gun in his hand after 27 years of imprisonment and there is no difference between Mandela and Leader Apo. Recalling Mandela’s importance and prestige after his release from prison, El Şemer said that Leader Apo’s biggest gun is his philosophy that actively defends the rights of not only Kurds but also Arabs and Jews.

El Şemer said that they were invigorated by the system of democratic autonomy that brings together Arabs, Assyrians and other peoples successfully. El Şemer added that democratic autonomy should be expanded to all parts of Syria for peoples’ peaceful coexistence.

'PEOPLE SHOULD WORK TOWARDS LEADER APO’S LIBERATION'

El Şemer said that as Arabs, Chaldeans and Assyrians, they would like Leader Apo to get out of prison and visit the cantons in Rojava. El Şemer highlighted that HDP was successful because it brought together different peoples, and called on elected parliamentarians to work towards the liberation of Leader Apo.

El Şemer described the isolation of Öcalan as cruelty and said that AKP had no conception of justice unlike the party’s name suggests. El Şemer pointed out the success of Leader Apo’s philosophy and said that 'Middle East will be more advanced than Europe if Öcalan is freed'
