YPG/YPJ forces liberated Meshur Tehtani neighbourhood in southeastern Girê Spî (Tel Abyad) after entering the town early morning today.

Commander Rubar Qamislo Operation launched by YPG/YPJ forces in order to liberate the western parts of Cizir canton including Girê Spî continues on its 40th day. YPG/YPJ forces liberated the Meshur Tehtani neighbourhood and the nearby hill in southeastern Girê Spî around 11:00 today.

As clashes continue in many parts of the city, YPG/YPJ forces arriving at the town from both Cizîr and Kobanê cantons, inflict simultaneous blows on ISIS gangs.

In the meantime, the two groups of YPG/YPJ fighters arriving at the town from the east and the west are expected to unite soon on the Raqqa road in order to cut the connection between Girê Spî and Raqqa.
