Martyr Mazlum Pîrdoğan Revenge Unit announced that they carried out an action with an Improvised Explosive device and personal weapons from two points at the police station in Yüksekova (Gever) in the province of Hakkari on 30 September.

In a statement, the Martyr Mazlum Pîrdoğan Revenge Unit said: "Our action units carried out an action with IEDs and personal weapons from two points at the police station in Gever on 30 September evening. After the action, the officers inside the police station opened fire at random out of fear. Following the action, our units carried out an action with IEDs and individual weapons for the second time against the convoy of invaders consisting of armored vehicles who wanted to blockade the neighbourhood. As a result of the effective actions of our units, the invaders escaped before they could enter the neighbourhood.

This action taken by our unit is dedicated to the ongoing aggravated isolation of Leader Apo [Abdullah Öcalan], KNK Hewlêr representative Deniz Cevdet Bülbün who was murdered in Hewlêr, the ongoing occupation attacks in Kurdistan and all the martyred guerrillas. At least 3 invaders were injured as a result of the action."
