KNK Co-chair: Turkey and Iran formed an alliance against Kurds

Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) Co-chair Dr. Rêbiwar Reşîd stated that the Turkish and Iranian states have formed an alliance against Kurds.

Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) Co-chair Dr. Rêbiwar Reşîd spoke to RojNews about the anti-Kurdish policies of the Iranian and Turkish states and stated that the Iranian and Turkish states are looking to form an alliance against Kurds.

Dr. Rêbiwar Reşîd said the Iranian and Turkish states have a dirty plan for massacres against Kurds and added that the bombings have been a part of that. Dr. Rêbiwar Reşîd said the Kurds need to stand united against attacks and continued: “Turkish and Iranian states are also engaged in a psychological war against Kurds. After the referendum, these two states took up harsh policies against Southern Kurdistan. But underneath these policies was the desire to target Kurds. That is why they want to attack the Kurdish people even more. The Iranian state wants to become a partner in the Turkish state’s policies and carry out the massacres together.”

Dr. Rêbiwar Reşîd also spoke about activities of the KNK and said: “We as the KNK will continue our work. We will fight for the Kurdish people’s demand for unity. There should be a united stance against atacks. We will stand stronger than ever against fascist practices.”
