Hikmet Hatip, Aydın Yalvaç, Sıtkı Vakar and Nasır Yağız, spokespersons and members of HDP's Kurdistan Region Representative Office in Hewlêr (Erbil), were forcibly taken out of the city by the security forces of the ruling KDP.

HDP and DEM Party Spokespersons Hikmet Hatip and Sıtkı Yalvaç, as well as HDP Kurdistan Region Representative Office executives Aydın Yalvaç and Nasır Yağız were summoned to security centres by the KDP's security forces (Asayish) in Hewlêr.

The politicians who went to the Asayish Centre were forcibly taken in two separate vehicles without any notification and left outside Hewlêr, close to the borders of Sulaymaniyah.

The politicians taken out of Hewlêr are expected to make a press statement in Sulaymaniyah in the coming hours.
